Matt Post

Matt is a second-year law student with a global perspective and a passion for immigration law, shaped by years of teaching and community service.

A Fort Smith native and Northside Grizzly, Matt’s journey has taken him from classrooms in Arkansas to language institutes in South America. He earned his undergraduate degree in Spanish and Chemistry from the University of Arkansas before teaching English in Ecuador and completing an M.A. in Linguistics at Hofstra University.

Now a second-year law student at the University of Arkansas, Matt brings a global perspective and strong work ethic shaped by years in education, kitchens, and construction. With a passion for immigration law, he aims to serve the diverse communities that make Northwest Arkansas thrive. In his free time, he enjoys music, cooking, and adventuring with his two rescue pups, Taza and Peanut.
