About Kevin Flores

Kevin was raised in Springdale after immigrating to the U.S. with his family as a child. His life reflects a path shaped by service—to country, community, and the people of Northwest Arkansas.

At seventeen, Kevin enlisted in the Marine Corps - where he deployed to Iraq and later served on special assignment with the State Department, stationed at U.S. embassies in Malaysia, Pakistan, and Brazil. He returned to Arkansas in 2016 to attend law school, later becoming the first Hispanic and first immigrant elected to the Springdale City Council.

When he’s not working, Kevin enjoys being physically active, fly fishing, spending time with his family and giving back through local mentoring programs and volunteering with Springdale Public Schools.
